PROJECT: WEBSITE BUILD AND LOGO DESIGN
We’ve actually been friends with Remi, Chief Editor at A Day in God’s Will, for a few years and so it was a great privilege to work with her on her rebrand.
A Day in God’s Will is a publisher that aims to empower individuals to embrace the fullness of life and reach their full potential by living each day according to the will of God and in doing so, making Him famous. Her website was to incorporate a blog and an online shop for her eBooks.
The original logo and brand was over 10 years old and needed a bit of a refresh.
We got Remi to complete our logo and branding questionnaire and put together a Mood Board to capture the look and feel of the brand. In this case, the main keywords we wanted to encapsulate were uplift, inspire, and encourage.
We came up with a few logo concepts, based on the brief and using the mood board as inspiration. In the end, Remi settled on a new logo that was clean and simple, plus incorporated the keywords of the brand.
To finish it off, we also put together a Brand Board to capture her newly designed logos as well as all the fonts, textures and colour codes she’ll need to apply strong, consistent branding to all her activities.
When it came to the website, Remi really wanted website visitors to be drawn in right from the homepage.
When the website went live, Remi gave me this piece of feedback:
It was important that the website was optimised for all devices and was fully responsive. Website visitors can navigate the site to enjoy its huge range of content, books and resources.
I also created some Instagram graphics she could use in the countdown to launch. This really helped to drum up some excitement for her followers in anticipation of her new site going live!
